Here is how to install the Snow Mod.
Go to Windows Explorere
and click on the CD drive with the Mod CD inside.
In the menu you click
on mods. At the bottom of the list a Setup icon is present.
Once you click this,
the Snow Mod program presents itself like a commercial CD. You
just need to follow the prompts and it installs itself.
Once installed, you
need to tell the Mod Enabler where your Panzer Elite folder is.
1) Go to the Start button
on your lower left Desktop screen and click Programs. The drop
down menu should have SnMod. Click on this and in the new menu
select:
L & L Snow- Night Mod (Config only)
2) This will make a
new Window appear.
There is a white area where you need to write the directory of
your install. Replace
E:\Panzer Elite with
C:\Program Files\PanzerElite
3) Click on the SAVE
Parameter button and hit OK.
4) Now, use the Start/Programs/
Snmod to click on the
L & L Snow- Night mod (Play)
The game then returns
to the Section where you choose the type of game you want to
set up.
You check the boxes for the following options:
a) Play at night- if
you want the game to be at night
b) Play at snow - If you want to play in winter
c)SnowUScammo1 White Allied cammo
d)SnowUScammo2 White on dark green
e)SnowUScammo3 white on olive green
f)Swap US/Russian Play US or Russian
Once you click OK, the
Mod Enabler will start you in the configuration of Panzer Elite
you chose. Posts: 545 | From: Canada

Are you sure you clicked on the SAVE Parameter
button after redoing the directory configuration?
Otherwise I dont know
what else to suggest right now. Posts: 545

Hi
Yes, I did click on
save, but with no luck. Thanks for the reply and help, though.

Hi !
You must give the complete
drive and path name of your pe install folder !
Example: C:\Program
Files\Panzer Elite
Use the windows explorer
to check the right name and without the ending backslash !!!!
Check also the spaces between the folder names !!! After saving
this it must be run.
BTW: You only need to
use the config mode to give this parameter. All other parameters
can then selected in the play mode. Changing any parameter in
play mode is for the current S/N Session. When you have a special
config you can press the save button and this will be the default
config for your S/N installation. So you don't need to start
the config mode to change the mod specific parameters !!!
Hope this helps !

Hi
Really appreciate the
responses for my help request. Unfortunately, I have tried all
the suggestions and instructions....multiple times with several
uninstalls and reinstalls. Nothing seems to help. I have always
set the path correctly to PE but to no avail. All other Mods
work great.....so maybe a fix or another idea will come along
to help. Thanks again.

One last thing.
It is important that you dont have a space between 'Panzer' and
'Elite' .
The original Psygnosis
game folder is spelled Panzer Elite, two words.
The PE SE CD is spelled
PanzerElite. One word.
Check out to see how your game is spelled, then make sure it
is the same as the configuration window.
Good luck! Posts:

Hi !
Have you look at the
complete pathname in your window explorer ? Bob is right when
hi say that PESE will not "Panzer Elite" as default
folder name. It is "PanzerElite".
EXAMPLE !!!! "C:\Program
Files\PanzerElite" or "D:\Program Files\PanzerElite"
or the name of your config
But when you not know
your path (with the right drive name !!) than look with the windows
explorer and type this name in the correct text box in the ModEnabler
config screen. Don?t forget to press the save parameter button
!
Have a nice day...

Very sad still no luck. I amhaving a terrible
time here with PE. When I start the Snow mod it tell me that
I don't have enough Hard Drive memory. It says something like
needs 250000000bytes of mememory and I only have 1676700. Anyway,
I have 20GIGS of open space on my hdd and 768Megs RAM.
Whats is going on?
Regards

Hi Gian !
This is a old problem
and exists only with harddisks with more than 10 or 20 GB free
space available. It's a problem of the external mod enabler function
"Drivesp.exe".
To fix this edit the
file "LLSNSYS.INI" in your S/N mod installation folder.
There is a parameter "FreeSpace" (or like this). Change
the value of this parameter to 0 (one) and save it. This disable
the freescape check so you have to watch yourself having enough
free memory on your harddisk (where pe is installed).
Have a nice day/night
...

Hi Lars
I tried the above suggestion
but when I started it gave me a global sys could not be read
or something. Could you please put the contents of that file
here so I could copy and paste it and try again.
Sorry for all the hassle
but I really want to get it to work.
Regards
